Both devices benefit from a 24+ hour battery life⁴, and both can achieve a 100-hour battery life with Extreme Battery Saver⁵. This is despite the Pixel 9 having a smaller 4,700 mAh battery as opposed to the 9 Pro XL's 5,060 mAh battery⁶. The 9 Pro XL also has 8K video recording, with the Pixel 9 being limited to up to 4K.
